Homemade Pie Body Scrub

Hi! How are you? Surviving winter? Me too, I guess, but I’m dreaming of warmer weather. If, like me, you’re starting to think spring, you’re probably thinking about short sleeved shirts, skirts, and sandals and wondering what to do about your dry, itchy winter skin. I have a super easy coconut oil body scrub recipe for you that will help get you the soft, glowing skin that you need to rock those spring outfits.

There are only three ingredients in this yummy smelling mix- coconut oil, brown sugar and pumpkin (or apple) pie spice.

To mix this up, first beat one cup of coconut oil in a medium bowl on low speed until most of the chunks are smoothed out. You might still have a few. That’s okay.

Then add one cup of brown sugar (dark or light, whatever you have) and one tablespoon of apple pie or pumpkin pie spice.

Mix well and bottle up in a pretty jar with a lid! This would make a great gift for Christmas or a birthday. And for those with more sensitive skin, you can easily adjust the abrasiveness by adding less sugar.

I’m sure you could make some equally delicious smelling scrubs with your own combination of spices. Get creative! And if you try it, leave me a comment and let me know what you did!
